Every TikTok LIVE term you need to know — from Coins and Diamonds to LIVE Roles and TTS.

TikTok LIVE Gifts
Virtual items that viewers can purchase and send to creators during live streams. Gifts convert to Diamonds, which creators can cash out for real money.
TikTok Coins
Virtual currency purchased by viewers to send gifts to creators. Approximately 35-40 coins equal $1 USD, depending on the bundle purchased.
TikTok Diamonds
Virtual credits earned by creators when they receive gifts during LIVE streams. Diamonds can be converted to USD and withdrawn to a bank account or PayPal.
Creator Share
The percentage of gift value that creators receive from TikTok, typically around 50% of the coin value. The platform takes the remaining 50% as a fee.
Galaxy Gift
One of the most expensive regular gifts on TikTok, costing 1,000 coins (approximately $27 USD for viewers). Creators earn about $13.50 per Galaxy received.
Rose Gift
The most basic TikTok gift, costing 1 coin. Often used for small appreciation or to participate in the gift leaderboard.
Gift Leaderboard
Real-time ranking of top gift senders during a LIVE stream. Viewers compete to appear at the top by sending higher-value gifts.
LIVE Role
A Discord role automatically assigned by BetterTok when a creator starts a TikTok LIVE stream. Removed automatically when the stream ends.
TTS & Sound Alerts
Text-to-Speech and custom sound effects triggered by TikTok Live gifts, follows, and shares. Creators can choose from 50+ voices and upload custom audio to enhance their streams.
