Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing BetterTok. This Refund Policy outlines our policies regarding refunds for our subscription services. By purchasing a BetterTok subscription, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

1. No Refunds Policy

All purchases are final and non-refundable. Due to the digital nature of our Service and the immediate access granted to premium features upon purchase, BetterTok LLC does not offer refunds for any subscription payments.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Initial subscription purchases
  • Recurring renewal charges (monthly or annual)
  • Plan upgrades or downgrades
  • Unused subscription time
  • Re-subscriptions after cancellation
  • Accidental purchases

2. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard settings. Upon cancellation:

  • You will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period.
  • Your subscription will not renew at the end of the billing period.
  • No prorated refunds will be provided for unused portions of your subscription.

3. Responsibility to Cancel

Users are solely responsible for managing their subscriptions and cancelling before the next billing cycle if they no longer wish to continue the service. The following situations do not constitute grounds for a refund:

  • Forgetting to cancel before a renewal charge
  • No longer using the Service
  • No longer streaming on TikTok
  • Dissatisfaction with the Service after purchase
  • Technical issues with third-party platforms (TikTok, Discord)
  • Changes to TikTok's API affecting service functionality

4. Service Availability

BetterTok relies on unofficial TikTok APIs and third-party services to function. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted service availability. Temporary service disruptions, API changes by TikTok, or maintenance periods do not entitle users to refunds.

5. Waiver of Statutory Withdrawal Rights (EU Customers)

For customers in the European Union: By purchasing a BetterTok subscription, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:

  • The digital service begins immediately upon purchase and payment confirmation.
  • You waive your statutory right of withdrawal under the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) once the digital content has been accessed or the service has begun.

6. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider instead of contacting us, BetterTok LLC reserves the right to:

  • Immediately suspend or terminate your account
  • Pursue collection of any amounts owed
  • Ban you from future use of BetterTok services

We encourage you to contact us directly at support[at]bettertok.app before initiating any disputes with your payment provider.

7. Exceptional Circumstances

While our policy is strictly no refunds, BetterTok LLC may, at its sole and absolute discretion, consider exceptions in cases of:

  • Duplicate charges due to technical errors on our end
  • Charges made after a properly submitted cancellation request

Any exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis and do not constitute a change to this policy or an obligation to provide similar exceptions in the future.
